§ About

One inspector. Your whole house.

Truebeam is a small, local inspection company. The person you talk to on the phone is the person who crawls under your house and writes your report.

Owen Hart

Founder & lead inspector (sample)

Twelve years building houses taught me where they hide their problems.

I framed and remodeled homes across Western North Carolina before I ever picked up an inspector’s flashlight. I know what a rushed flashing job looks like, where builders cut corners, and which problems are cosmetic.

I started Truebeam in 2016 because I kept watching buyers get reports they couldn’t understand. Since then I’ve inspected more than 3,000 homes, and every report still gets the same promise: clear words, real photos, and a phone number that works after closing.

How we work

Three rules on every inspection.

I.

Explain, don’t alarm

Every house has findings. We tell you which ones matter, which are routine, and what each is likely to cost.

II.

Show, don’t tell

Every finding gets a photo and a location, so you, your agent and your contractor are looking at the same thing.

III.

Answer the phone

Questions after the report are part of the job. Call or text right through closing, no extra charge.
