Why test for radon here
Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that comes from the ground, and many counties in the mountains of North Carolina have elevated levels. The only way to know is to test.
How the test works
We place a continuous electronic monitor in the lowest livable level of the home for 48 hours. You get an hour-by-hour graph and an average result compared against the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L.
If the result is high
High radon is common and fixable. A mitigation system usually costs a fraction of a typical repair credit, and we can explain what to ask for.
